Rose Quartz Crystals – History
Records on the use of rose quartz can be dated back 9,000 years to 7,000 BC.
It was used in Mesopotamia for it’s balancing powers, and was used both medically and for jewellery.
In Egypt, it was believed to be anti-aging, and face masks have been found in tombs.
According to Greek legends, Aphrodite the goddess of love and her Adonis created rose quartz by falling onto a white quartz crystal.
The ancient Chinese date their belief that this crystal brought luck and love to 600BC.

This crystal, is of course, associated with the heart chakra.
