You may want to select your crystal type to go with your favourite essential oil.

Here are some recommendations:

• Amethyst – pair with sage, bergamot, cedarwood and sandalwood for deep cleansing, protection and grounding
• Chevron amethyst – goes well with lavender to provide a gentle, soothing healing
• Fluorite is best combined with tangerine, bergamot and ylang ylang for calming and enhancing its rainbow energy
• Smokey quartz is enhanced by sage and frankincense for grounding
• Black obsidian – consider essential oils such as patchouli, black pepper and vetiver
• Rose quartz – the love stone. Pair with essential oils that enhance love, such as rose, lavender, jasmine, ylang ylang and bergamot
• Tiger’s eye – this crystal helps with decision making, and can be paired with sweet orange, lime and geranium.

Like all crystals, these essential oil bottles need to be energetically cleansed from time to time.

To keep your crystals in top condition:

• Make sure you keep them free of dust and debris
• Storing them on selenite will help to keep them energetically clean
