Air Freshener for Home – what is a hydrosol?

A hydrosol is the by-product of the steam distillation process used to make essential oils.

Hydrosols are also known as flower waters.

They contain similar properties to the essential oil, but are much less concentrated and have a softer aroma because of this.

Hydrosols make great skin care products, aromatherapy sprays and air fresheners.

Which will you choose – lavender or rose?

Lavender is generally associated with being relaxing, good for stress – actually very similar properties to purple crystals.

On the other hand, rose is – like rose quartz – associated with the heart.

Of course, it comes down to personal preference – so which will you choose?
